Same Sex Wedding on The Path of Gods – Amalfi Coast
It has been quite a memorable same sex wedding. James and Charles are a young gay couple in San Francisco who decided to elope to the Amalfi Coast. Their plan was very unique. They intended to hike the Path of The Gods, starting in the morning from Praiano and climbing to the Convent of Santa Maria a Castro, a very suggestive location nestled in the nature and overlooking a breathtaking vista on Positano and the Amalfi Coast. Once there, they would have changed their clothes and have a brief ceremony in the church, followed by a toast on the veranda. Before engaging me, they warned that the hike was strenuous and asked if I would be able to climb.
After a long climb out of Praiano following signs to the path of gods we finally got to the convent. A truly romantic place, and It was a lovely day in late May with a pleasant temperature. Furthermore, a breathtaking view on the surrounding landscape was an ideal backdrop to shoot this romantic same sex wedding. An intimate and very heart-felt event to which attended only a couple of friend and their little daughter.
